PREP GOLF: The Midland Athletic League Meet was rained out, and will be rescheduled for 9 a.m. Monday at Green Hills.
PREP VOLLEYBALL: Elgin beat Upper Sandusky Saturday, 25-18, 25-19 in the first match ath the Sherril Appelfeller Classic. Upper Sandusky's Taylor Graboski had 10 kills. In the second match Upper Sandusky beat Hayes, 25-11, 20-25, 25-23. Graboski had 25 kills.
COLLEGE GOLF: Heidelberg's men finished third out of four teams at the Indian Brook Invitational in Fostoria. Brian Cline and Calvert graduate Troy Keller each had a 77 to lead HU.
n Heidelberg's women finished in seventh at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational at Mohawk Golf and Country Club. HU shot a 422 Sunday. Heather Lentz shot a team best 96 Sunday.
JV FOOTBALL: Seneca East defeated North Baltimore 39-12. Hunter Saylors completed 8 of 11 passes for 120 yards and touch touchdowns for SE. Joe Felter had 96 yards rushing and three TDs (one receiving). Zach Aiello and Adam Hall each had TD receptions for Seneca East. Garrett Boeser had an interception, and Hall had an interception and returned it for a TD. SE improved to 4-0.
JV VOLLEYBALL: Columbian beat Eastwood, 25-11, 25-14. Alyssa Price served six aces and added seven assists, Sara Berecz four kills, five aces, Michaela Sharlow had three kills and nine digs, Annie Dennis had five digs.
FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Columbian defeated New Riegel, 20-25, 25-22, 25-20. Brittany Baker had four kills, three aces and nine digs for New Riegel, while Amanda Weinandy had 12 digs.
n Mohawk fell to Findlay, 12-25, 25-14, 25-20. Aubrey Ward had four kills, four digs and two aces for the Warriors, Ali Konkle had 19 digs and three kills, Mackenzie Sowers had 11 digs, three kills and two aces and Stacy Clouse had 11 assists, two aces and four digs.
JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: New Riegel's seventh grade team fell to Mohawk, 25-27, 25-20, 25-19. Elyssa Theis had 10 digs for New Riegel, while Gidge Elchert had four. Kylie Tiell had four aces and six digs. For Mohawk, Trusty had six kills and five aces, while Raeanna Garber had three kills and three aces. Teammate Addie Thiery served 3 aces, Emily Conner registered four kills and Jeffrey added three aces.
n Mohawk's eighth grade knocked off New Riegel, 25-18, 22-25, 25-13. For New Riegel, Elizabeth Zoeller had four assists, while Leah Bouillon added five digs.
n Tiffin Middle School's eighth grade beat Bellevue, 26-24 and 25-22. Alexxa Ingalls had two blocks and two kills for the Tornadoes, while Sydney Saum had four kills and three digs. Hannah Hupp served four aces.
n The Tiffin seventh grade lost in two to Bellevue, 25-21, 25-19. Brenna Saum had three kills and Maryn Sykes added two digs for Tiffin.
