FREMONT The annual Civil War re-enactment at Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center is this weekend in Fremont.
Saturday and Sunday, hundreds of costumed re-enactors are to come together for a living history event. The grounds of Spiegel Grove serve as campsite for Union and Confederate armies and provide the staging area for three recreations of the Battle of Fisher's Hill.
The re-enactment takes place 9 a.m-5 p.m. each day. Admission is $4 for adults and $2 for ages 6-12. Battle re-enactments are at noon and 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday; each battle involves infantry and artillery units.

Visitors can get a taste of camp life this weekend at the annual Hayes Civil War re-enactment.
Sunday, Brigadier Alton G. Berry of the 88th Regional Support Command is to lead a presidential memorial service at President Hayes' burial site.
Visitors wishing to tour the Hayes home and museum can take advantage of re-enactment discount prices of $4 per building for adults and $2 per building for children ages 6-12.
Museum admission includes entry to "Civil War: Battlefield and Homefront," an exhibit of personal letters, artifacts and photographs of northern Ohio residents during the war.
