Robert and Marilyn Klaus celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Sept. 16, 2011.
They were married Sept. 16, 1961, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. George Koerber.
Robert is the son of the late Philip and Lucinda Klaus. He is retired from Hayes-Albion and Whirlpool Corp., Clyde.

Marilyn is the daughter of Ruthann Maag of Tiffin and the late Virgil Maag. She is retired from Whirlpool and is a home health aide at Renaissance House, Tiffin.
They are parents of four children, Laura (Matthew) Stickley of Tiffin, Dan (Sue) Klaus of Fremont, Cathy (Clark) Francis of New Albany and Jen (Scott) Shonebarger of Lewis Center. They also have six grandchildren, with one on the way.
