Teachers toured the facility as part of an initiative by the local education committee. The committee is made up of representatives from local manufacturers, Tiffin Area Chamber of Commerce, Seneca Industrial and Economic Development Corp., the city of Tiffin, Heidelberg University, Tiffin University, Tiffin Academy of Hair Design, North Central Ohio Educational Service Center, Seneca County Opportunity Center, Bridges Community Academy, Sentinel Career and Technology Center, Calvert Catholic Schools and Tiffin City Schools.
