Joan Holder McConnell, instructor of organ and music theory, is to present an organ recital at Trinity United Church of Christ at 3 p.m. Sept. 25.
The concert is free.
Included on the list of repertoire are 20th-century American composer Leo Sowerby's "Comes Autumn Time" and Le Ping's "Golden Breaks the Dawn," winner of the 2008 Holtkamp Organ Composition Award.
Also included in the recital are works by J.S. Bach, Joseph Rheinberger, Jean Langlais, and "Litanies," to mark the 100th birthday of French organist/composer Jehan Alain.
