Gorrel leads H-L to victory

FOSTORIA - Bryce Gorrel fired a 42 and teammate Eric Tanner finished just a stroke behind him as Hopewell-Loudon edged North Baltimore, 181-183, at Loudon Meadows.

The Chieftains improved to 5-7 on the season. Aric Creeger and Jarid Gelinas each put up 48s to help pace the effort.

North Baltimore (9-5) had every golfer shoot in the 40s, and was led by Andrew Peters and Cory Bean, who each shot a 48.

Senecas hand New Riegel first loss

Calvert received a pair of 40s, and handed New Riegel its first loss of the season in a meet that also included Bettsville at Mohawk Country Club.

Cody Behm and Ryan Huss each registered a 40, as the Senecas tipped New Riegel, 166-177. Bettsville shot 202.

For the Blue Jackets (11-1), Tim Reinhart led with a 42, a stroke better than teammate Brady Hall. New Riegel's Brent Orians added a 45.

The Bobcats (2-9) were led by Dominic Miccichi, who registered a 46.

Huffman, Jordan pace Warriors

UPPER SANDUSKY - Jarrod Huffman and Hunter Jordan each shot in the 40s, and Mohawk picked up its first win of the season by knocking off Lakota, 192-210, at Lincoln Hills.

Huffman shot a 40 for the Warriors, while Jordan fired an 89 for the Warriors (1-8).

Lakota (0-11) was led by Makayla Dull's 44.

Blair's 38 lifts Blue Devils

CAREY - Corbin Blair's 38 led everyone in a tri-match, as Carey squeaked past St. Wendelin, 175-177. Arcadia also participated, and shot a 209.

Blair led the Blue Devils (8-5), as he topped teammate Lincoln Stansberry by six strokes. St. Wendelin's Zeb Walters' 42 topped the Mohawks (7-4) while fellow St. Wendelin player Kieran Campbell shot a 43.

Arcadia's (1-6) Clay Hatfield led his squad with a 50.

Quality re-Newell for Upper Sandusky

UPPER SANDUSKY - Daniel Newell's 39 topped an all-around solid day for Upper Sandusky, as the Rams blew away Crestline, 162-190.

Joe Reile shot a 40, a stroke better than teammate Alec Oney. Trent Howard added a 42, as the Rams upped their record to 8-1.

Crestline's (3-4) Ben Hatfield shot a 41.

BC's four-pronged attack drops Ontario

MANFIELD - Four Buckeye Central golfers were separated by five strokes, reflecting a consistent performance that gave the Bucks a 170-174 victory at Cranberry Hills.

Buckeye Central (5-4) was paced by Chase Hushour's 39, with BC getting a 43 from Adam McGinnis and 44s from Eric Heydinger and Matt Sheibley.

Ontario (3-6) was topped by Eric Dawson's 39.
