Shannon Matthews and Kenneth Knott Sr. exchanged wedding vows at 3:15 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011, during a double-ring ceremony at God's Lighthouse, Tiffin, by the Rev. Massey. A reception followed at Somerset Reception Center, Tiffin.
Shannon is the daughter of Chet Matthews Sr. and Rhonda Sauers, both of Tiffin.
Kenneth is the son of Harold and Jewel Knott of New London.

Shannon, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown featuring a chapel-length train, decals on the bodice and a split from the waist to the floor. She wore a two-tier veil and tiara. She carried a bouquet of pink and brown roses.
Lessie Cooper of Tiffin was her cousin's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sharon Matthews of Tiffin and Jackie Matthews of Bloomville, sisters of the
bride, and Brenda Ball of Bloomville, stepmother of the bride.
The matron of honor and one bridesmaid wore brown, flowing dresses and the other two wore pink, flowing dresses, all with spaghetti straps that crisscrossed in the back. They each carried a bouquet of pink and brown flowers with live pink roses.
Harold Knott of New London was his son's best man. Groomsmen were Matt Knott and Scott Knott of New London, brothers of the groom, and Chris Cooper of Tiffin, friend of the family.
Flower girls were Angel Knott, Allison Knott and Kyra Matthews, all of Tiffin and daughters of the couple.
Ring bearers were Dakota Matthews, Kyle Knott and Karson Knott, all of Tiffin and sons of the couple.
Junior bride was Lynn Matthews of Tiffin, daughter of the couple. Junior groom was Christian Knott of Tiffin, son of the couple.
Shannon is a 1999 graduate of Columbian High School and she attended Owens Community College. She is a homemaker.
Kenneth is a 1997 graduate of Columbian High School. He works as a truck driver.
Lessie Cooper hosted a bachelorette party June 25, 2011. Chris Cooper hosted a bachelor party June 11, 2011.
Following a honeymoon trip to Pocono Mountains, the couple resides at 267 Circular St., Tiffin.
