Country singer, concert organizer get their day in court

A court trial has been set for a country music singer and a concert organizer who were cited with disorderly conduct after they fought at Smokin' Country Concert.

Tracy Lawrence, 43, of Tennessee, and Elmer Cole Jr., 52, of Bloomville, are set to appear in Tiffin Municipal Court Sept. 1 for a court trial, according to court documents.

Lawrence and Cole each were cited with the minor misdemeanor after a physical fight erupted between the two at Smokin' Country Concert Aug. 6.

Both were transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital where Lawrence received several stitches for injuries to his face.
