Commissioners meet this morning

Seneca County commissioners are to open bids for a local project and hear information on alternative energy sources.

During their board meeting at 10 a.m. today, commissioners are to open bids for a dog warden kennel project. Dog Warden Kelly Marker made a presentation to commissioners for new kennels which are to be stainless steel, wire welded and will accommodate larger animals.

In other news, a representative of NextArea Wind Turbines is to make a presentation.

In other business, the board is to consider:

A supplemental appropriation of $15,605.78 for the Law Library Resources Board Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $10,000 for the General Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $50,000 for the Real Estate Assessment Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $2,500 for Delinquent Real Estate Tax Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $13,334.74 for the General Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $47,255.55 for the General Fund.

An appropriation adjustment of $750 within the General Fund.

A resolution setting time, date and place to receive sealed bids for the Seneca County Youth Center.

A resolution authorizing an agreement with M&B Asphalt Co. Inc. for the Seneca County Township Road Reconstruction Program.

A resolution certifying unpaid assessments to the Seneca County auditor for collection.
