Robert and Marilyn Distel are celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married July 9, 1971.
Robert is retired from National Machinery Co.
The former Marilyn Rohrbach is a homemaker.

They have eight children, Michael, Robert J. and Anthony of Tiffin, Allyson (Raymond) Distel-Leisy of Wooster, Rebecca (Charles) Rohrbach-Thomas of Richmond, Texas, Charles (Jennifer) Rohrbach of San Mateo, Calif., Nancy (David) Rohrbach-Lucius of Tiffin and Jennifer (Maurice) Distel-Risser of Findlay. They also have 19 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Their children hosted an open house Saturday, July 16, 2011.
