Ernest and Roberta Tolento celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a small gathering with family and friends June 26, 2011, at Fort Stephenson House, Fremont.
Ernest and the former Roberta Muzquiz were married June 27, 1946, in Lorain by the Rev. Karpi.
Ernest is the son of the late Ralph and Olivia Rubio. He retired from GE, Tiffin, in 1981.

Roberta is the daughter of the late Irene Colon Edzaris and Robert Garcia. She is a homemaker.
They are parents of three daughters, Cynthia Colombo of Estacada, Ore., Cecelia Chaney of Salem, Ore., and Esther T. Young of Tiffin. They also have five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
