Glenn and Miriam Roper celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner May 29, 2011, at T.J. Willie's restaurant, Tiffin.
They were married May 27, 1961, by the Rev. Wayne Kantner, at his home.
Glenn is the son of the late Robert and Madge Kahler. He is retired from Tower Automotive, Upper Sandusky.

Miriam is the daughter of the late Clarence and Madeline Webster. She is retired from Dairy Snack, Upper Sandusky.
They are parents of five children, Jeffrey (Teresa) Roper of Greensburg, Ind., Scott Roper of Mayfield, Ky., Chris (Shannon) Roper of rural Tiffin, Bryan (Jacki) Roper of Pickens, S.C., and Sheri Panuto of rural Tiffin. Twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren complete their family.
