Cristin Burkholder and Shawn Sunderman exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. July 10, 2010, at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Hamler. The Rev. Sharon Stonerock was officiant during the double-ring service. A reception followed at Bowen-Thompson Student Union, Bowling Green State University.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Barbara Burkholder of Republic.
The bridegroom is the son of Burdette and Joann Sunderman of Hamler.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a champagne and ivory lace-over-light gold, one-piece, strapless, slim A-line silhouette with corset closure gown. The sophisticated lace overlay featured an asymmetrical, gathered Dream Satin panel wrapping across the waistline. The waist was accented with a satin bow gently placed at the side front hip. She carried a fresh clutch of white mini callas with green hydrangea, green cymbidiums and green roses.
The attendants wore black, short, charmeuse dresses with ruched waists and pockets. They carried round clutches of white gerbera daisies, green button mums and hydrangeas.
Anne Lewis of Dayton was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Porter of Republic, cousin of the bride; and Claire Wurm and Lindsey Weiker of Columbus, friends of the couple.
Josh Biederstedt of Napoleon was the best man. Groomsmen were Vernon Burden of Detroit and Eric Krauss of Columbus, friends of the couple; and Ryan Burkholder of Toledo, brother of the bride.
The bride, a 2003 graduate of Seneca East High School, graduated in 2009 from Bowling Green State University. She is an elementary intervention specialist within the Patrick Henry school district.
The bridegroom graduated in 2000 from Patrick Henry High School and in 2004 from University of Findlay. He is a high school math teacher within the Patrick Henry school district.
Honoring the bride with a miscellaneous shower in May 2010 were her bridesmaids.
A rehearsal dinner was at DiBenedetto's Italian Bistro, Bowling Green.
The couple resides in Hamler, following a honeymoon trip to Riveria Maya, Mexico.
