Tim and Julie Bazar celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary by attending a Mass May 8, 2011, at Mother of Sorrows Church, Put-In-Bay, with the Rev. Christopher Bazar officiating.
A family dinner followed at Moosebacks Restaurant, Put-In-Bay.
Tim and Julie were married May 8, 1971, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Robert Holden.

Tim is the son of the late George and Mary Bazar. He is retired from Autolite, Fostoria, and now works part-time at the Seneca County Opportunity Center.
Julie is the daughter of the late Anthony Sr. and Rosina Gaietto. She is a cashier at Walmart, Tiffin.
They are parents of two children, the Rev. Christopher Bazar and Douglas Bazar.
