Mark and Phyllis Stanton renewed their wedding vows during a convalidation ceremony May 21, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. A family dinner followed at Bubby's in New Riegel.
Mark and Phyllis were married May 21, 1984.
Mark is the son of Nancy Medford of Nebo, N.C., and Walter Stanton of St. Petersburg, Fla. He works at Tiffin Developmental Center.

Phyllis is the daughter of Ruth and Henry Bentz of Tiffin. She also works at Tiffin Developmental Center.
They are parents of five children, Dawn Spitler of Tiffin, Melissa Stanton of Columbus and Stephanie Stanton, Mark Stanton Jr. and Nate Stanton, all of Tiffin. Two grandchildren complete their family.
The couple also took a Caribbean cruise to celebrate the anniversary.
