The parents of Whitney Morrin and Benjamin Steyer are pleased to announce their children's engagement.
Whitney is the daughter of Terry and Denise Morrin of Erie, Mich. She is a graduate of St. Mary Catholic Central High School, Monroe, Mich., and The University of Toledo. She is attending University of Findlay, working toward a master's degree in occupational therapy.
Benjamin is the son of Bernard and Jean Steyer of Tiffin. He graduated from Old Fort High School and from Tiffin University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed at Steyer Seeds LLC, rural Tiffin.

A private wedding is planned for July 23, 2011, and a local reception July 29.
