FREMONT - Downtown Fremont Inc. is planning the sixth annual Ralph's Joy of Living Fremont Farmers Markets on the third Saturday of each month beginning in June and running through October 2011.
In addition to the third Saturdays, two additional markets have been added to the schedule.
Area farmers/growers, greenhouses, orchards and niche market vendors are invited to come downtown to sell their goods. The markets will be open-air sales on the streets of downtown Fremont from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The fee to participate is $25 per week. Those who commit to all seven markets pay $20 per week, for a total of $140. Electricity is available for an additional fee.
The Fremont market schedule is as follows:
June 18, with the Fremont Federal Credit Union Car Show.
July 16, featuring The AEP Ohio Art and Music Fest.
July 30, with new Front Street Relay.
Aug. 20, including the Green Bay Packaging Dog Days of Summer.
Sept. 17, in conjunction with Croghan Colonial Bank Service Club Olympics.
Oct. 1, with new Kid's Market.
Oct. 15, featuring the Memorial Health Care System Scarecrow Contest.
