Farmers and landowners have until Aug. 1 to contact Seneca County's Farm Service Agency to re-enroll Continuous Signup Conservation Reserve Program contracts expiring Sept. 30.
They can re-enroll all or part of expiring CRP contracts. Some contracts may be eligible to re-enroll from a 10-year to a 15-year continuous contract.
If re-enrolled, the contract would have an Oct. 1 effective date and would be subject to a new conservation plan.
