’Berg men inch above .500

NEW CONCORD - Heidelberg roughed up Ohio Athletic Conference foe Muskingum, 8-1, in men's tennis Tuesday.

The win upped the Student Princes to 6-5 overall and 1-1 in the OAC while the Muskies fell to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Heidelberg took five of the six singles matches, with the wins all coming in two sets.

Wins came from Bobby Lochotzki (6-3, 6-1) at first singles match, Patrick Ryan Earl (6-4, 6-2) at No. 3, Zachary Schwenning (6-0, 6-4) at No. 4, Dylan Booth (6-0, 6-1) at No. 5 and Miles Yetter (7-5, 6-1) at No. 6.

Yetter's victory bumped him to 8-1 overall and 2-0 against OAC foes.

The Student Princes also won 9-8 (8-6) at No. 1 doubles, 8-1 at No. 2 and 8-4 at No. 3.
