National Machinery employees working in Japan were unharmed in the natural disasters that occurred last week.
Anne Martin, human resources manager, said the company's Nagoya, Japan, facility suffered no damage in the disaster as it was farther south than most of the major damage.
Martin said engineers in the area of the earthquake and employees in Tokyo are reported as fine.
National Machinery designs, develops and manufactures cold forming machines that produce metal parts from coiled wire, bars, slugs and preforms. The company is based in Tiffin and has service centers in Rockford, Ill., and Nuremberg, Germany, and sales offices around the world.
