Laura Marie Theis and Nicholas Joseph Kuhlman exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 2010, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Powell. The Rev. Jeffrey Tigyer was officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception followed at The Lakes Golf and Country Club, Westerville.
The bride is the daughter of Rita Theis of Tiffin and Dennis Theis of New Riegel.
The bridegroom is the son of Alan and Theresa Kuhlman of Ottawa.

Laura, given in marriage by her father, wore a white faille, side-draped A-line gown with lace appliques. Her headpiece was a single layer, elbow-length veil with a white satin cord edge. She carried a medium-sized bouquet of red freedom roses, mini gerber daisies, spray roses and red dahlias, hand-tied with white satin ribbon.
Janette Theis of Cincinnati was her sister's maid of honor. Attendants were Robyn Kuhlman and Nicole Kuhlman of Ottawa, sisters-in-law of the groom, and Theresa Hammer of Cincinnati and Stephanie Origel of Findlay, friends of the bride.
The attendants wore black satin, full-length strapless dresses with ruched bodices and chiffon pleated side-draping. They carried medium-size bouquets of mini gerber daisies and red freedom roses hand-tied with black satin ribbon.
Joseph Kuhlman, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jeremy Kuhlman and Ben Kuhlman of Ottawa, brothers of the groom, Andrew Theis of Tiffin, brother of the bride, and Adam Schmitz of Greenville, S.C., friend of the groom.
Ring bearer was Brayden Kuhlman of Ottawa, nephew of the groom.
Laura is a 2003 graduate of New Riegel High School and a 2007 graduate of The Ohio State University. She is a licensed social worker in Columbus.
Nick is a 2003 graduate of Ottawa Glandorf High School and a 2007 graduate of Columbus State Community College. He is a radiology technologist at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
The bride was honored with a bridal shower hosted by her mother and sister Aug. 29, 2010, in Tiffin.
Following a honeymoon in Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple resides in Powell.
