Jennifer Distel and Jacob Gill exchanged wedding vows June 26, 2010, at the home of the groom's parents. The Rev. Scott Blevins was officiant during the 4:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at UAW Fellowship Hall, Fostoria.
Jennifer is the daughter of Greg and Ruth Distel of Tiffin.
Jacob is the son of Glenn and Linda Gill of Weston.
Jennifer, given in marriage by her parents, wore her mother's bridal gown. The floor length, A-line dress was strapless and featured three layers of lace.
Erika Distel of Tiffin, sister of the bride, and Keesha McCue of Columbiana, cousin of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Kelli Gill of Weston, sister of the groom; Sara Omlor of Wickliffe, friend of the bride; and Courtney Krummert of Milford, future sister-in-law of the bride. They wore tea-length, navy blue dresses with halter necklines.
Jared Gill of Weston, brother of the groom, and George Toth-Demitriade of Bowling Green, served best men. Groomsmen were Jody Abar of Perkasie, Pa., cousin of the groom; and Nick Graham of Toledo and Christian Hoch of Carlsbad, Calif., friends of the groom.
Jennifer graduated from Mohawk High School in 2004 and from Bowling Green State University in 2009.
Jacob graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2004 and is serving in the U.S. Navy.
The couple took a five-day honeymoon cruise with stops at Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Nassau and will make their home in Havelock, N.C.
