Art contest entries needed

FINDLAY - The Findlay Art League is accepting entries for its Black and White (and Shades of Gray) Show 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. The show is open to artists in the northwest Ohio area.

Artwork entered can be two or three-dimensional - but must be black and white or shades of gray, including the stands or framing material. Silver and gray or silver colored metallic are acceptable. Two-dimensional items must be smaller than 48 inches in either dimension. Sculptures must weigh less than 70 pounds. Black and white photography is accepted.

This is a juried show, so registration does not ensure inclusion in the show.

Right to Life plans breakfast

NEW RIEGEL - New Riegel Right to Life is having its annual breakfast 9 a.m.-noon Jan. 16 at American Legion Hall in New Riegel. The menu includes ham, eggs, potoatoes, rolls, juice and coffee. A variety of gifts are to be raffled.

Scrapper's Crop returns to GSH

FOSTORIA - Good Shepherd Home in Fostoria is inviting scrapbook enthusiasts to its fourth annual GSH Scrapper's Crop, which is set for 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Jan. 29 in the lower level at Good Shepherd Home.

The registration fee of $10 (a non-refundable deposit) reserves a spot. Space is limited. Lunch will be provided.

The objective of crop is to create a GHS scrapbook of the past year's activities and events. The registration deadline is Jan. 21. In case of bad weather, the rescheduled date would be Feb. 12.
