Milner Pass in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colo., was the setting for the exchange of wedding vows between Michelle Renee Mieras and Nicholas Robert Elchert on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010.
Michelle is the daughter of Barbara EchoHawk and Fred EchoHawk of Longmont, Colo., and James and Jennifer Mieras of Boulder, Colo. She graduated from Boulder High School and earned a bachelor's degree in physics from University of Colorado in 1997. She earned a law degree from University of Denver in 2002 and a master's degree in taxation from University of Denver in 2008.
Michelle is a tax and estate planning attorney in Broomfield, Colo.

Nicholas is the son of Suzanne and James Black of Tiffin and the late Thomas A. Elchert Jr. A 1996 graduate of Mohawk High School, Nicholas earned a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from University of Cincinnati in 2001.
Nicholas is a mechanical engineer for Lockheed Martin in Littleton, Colo.
The couple is planning a celebration at their home in October 2011 and a reception in Tiffin. They reside in Denver.
