Joe and Sharon Blust celebrated their 40th anniversary Nov. 13, 2010, with a surprise reception hosted by their children at AMVETS, Tiffin.
The couple married Nov. 14, 1970, at St. John United Church of Christ, Tiffin.
Joe is the son of the late Herbert and Etta (Creeger) Blust. He is a barber at Varsity Barber Shop.

Sharon is the daughter of Imogene Strauch of Tiffin and the late Robert Strauch. She is the office manager at Marcie and Associates Realty Inc.
They are the parents of two sons, Kyle (Layla) Blust of Chicago and Eric (Jenny) Blust of Austin, Minn. Five grandchildren complete their family.
