Ashley Deats and Kyle Dorkoskie were united in marriage April 17, 2010. The 4:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony took place at Thomas Birkby House, Leesburg, Va., with the Rev. Angela Maves officiating. A reception followed at the samea location.
Ashley is the daughter of Jim and Marilyn Deats of Tiffin.
Kyle is the son of Don and Cheryl Dorkoskie of Pottstown, Pa.

Ashley, given in marriage by her parents, wore a crystal satin gown with a bodice accented with vertical pleats and assymetrical ruching, gathers at the sides and seams and pleats at the back. The gown featured buttons down the back with a slight V-dip at the rear neckline. She carried a bouquet of ivory and light pink roses.
Emily Ransone of Los Angeles was her friend's matron of honor. Attendants were Julie Ekleberry of Tiffin and Dorea Glance of Athens, Ohio, friends of the bride.
Flower girls were Ashlynn and Madyson Deats of Tiffin, nieces of the bride.
Andrew Dietrich of Washington, D.C., was his friend's best man. Groomsmen were Larry Lazarus of Washington, D.C., friend of the groom, and Chris Meeker of Pottstown, Pa., brother-in-law of the groom.
Ring bearer was London Meeker of Pottstown, Pa., nephew of the groom.
Ashley is a 2002 graduate of Calvert High School and a 2007 graduate of Wright State University. She is employed as an intensive care unit nurse.
Kyle is a 1998 graduate of Pottsgrove High School and a 2002 graduate of University of Delaware. He is a physician's assistant.
Christy Schreiner and Becky Judd, aunts of the bride, hosted a miscellaneous shower Dec. 27, 2009. Beth DeLisle, Sue Schank, Mary Krupp and Janet Lonsway, aunts of the bride, hosted another miscellaneous shower March 7, 2010.
Following a two-week honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Arlington, Va.
