Gilbert and Leila Wurm celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and family dinner at T.J. Willie's restaurant Oct. 16, 2010.
They were married Oct. 15, 1960, at St. Andrew Catholic Church by the Rev. Cornelius Dobmeyer.
They are the parents of seven children, Tony (Janette) Wurm and Diane (Glen) Wise of Attica, Jim (Linda) Wurm of Republic, Don (Lisa) Wurm of Tiffin, Dave (Dee) Wurm of Charlestown, Ind., Dale (Kelly) Wurm of Lima and Janet Ann, who is deceased. Seven grandchildren complete the family.

Leila, a homemaker, is the daughter of the late Anthony and Corrine Brickner.
Gilbert is the son of the late Joseph and Marcella Wurm. He retired from sales after 30 years and is a driver for ICP Inc.
