Joallen and Dorothy Smith celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary and were honored with a family dinner hosted by their children.
They were married Sept. 10, 1950, at Fort Seneca United Church of Christ by the Rev. VonGruenigen.
Joallen is the son of the late Ralph W. and Pauline Smith. He is retired from Basic Inc.

Dorothy is the daughter of the late Russell and Bernita Mellott. She is retired from sales.
They are parents of four children, Kathy (Scott) Smith of Findlay, Larry Smith of Fort Seneca, Michael (Gayla Griffin) Smith of Tiffin and Karen, who is deceased. Six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren complete their family.
