St. Francis Senior Ministries will be hosting its third annual Blessing of Pets at 3 p.m. Sunday, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
This celebration is in remembrance of St. Francis' love of all creatures. Participants must meet in the parking lot in front of St. Francis Home, 182 St. Francis Ave.
All animals must be on a leash if possible or secured in some manner. Each pet will be blessed and receive a St. Francis of Assisi medallion.
Several veterinarians and local businesses have donated door prizes. This event is free.
