Robert and Roberta Grothaus were married 40 years ago today, Aug. 15, 1970, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.
Roberta is the daughter of the late Robert and Florence Stein.
Robert is the son of Mary Grothaus of Corbin, Ky., and the late Robert Grothaus.

They have four children, Laura (Cory) Sendelbach of New Riegel, Robert of Carey, Lisa (Eric) Reider of Findlay and Michael of Tiffin, and three grandchildren.
The Grothauses celebrated their anniversary with
a trip out west in June.
