Ben and Jean Chaffee celebrated their 40th anniversary July 25, 2010, with a Mass at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Sycamore.
The Chaffees were married July 25, 1970, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Tiffin.
They are the parents of three children, Ben Jr. of North Fairfield, Rodney of Noblesville, Ind., and Nikki of Norwalk, and grandparents of six.

Ben is the son of the late Glen and Kathryn Chaffee. He is manager of Stacy Equipment in Tiffin.
