Christine Lang and Matthew Shaver exchanged wedding vows at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 20, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin. The Rev. Gary Walters was the officiant during the double-ring service. A reception was at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Marla Lang.

The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Becky Shaver of Tiffin and Patricia Courtney of Tiffin.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory, radiant taffeta gown with shoulder straps. Asymmetrical pleating formed a V-neckline and cascaded over the torso of the fit and flare gown. Covered buttons adorned the back of the bodice and down the length of the chapel train. She wore a two-tier ivory veil edged with bugle beads and crystals. She carried a cascading bouquet of red roses tied with ivory satin ribbon.

The attendants wore floor-length cherry red satin dresses. Each attendant chose her style of dress. They carried arm bouquets of white roses tied with ivory satin ribbon.

Rhea Elliot of New Albany was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Danner, Kelly Snyder and Abby Lang, sisters of the bride; Amanda Zoeller, cousin of the bride; and Emily Stacy, friend of bride. All are of Tiffin.

Mike Newlove of Tiffin was the best man. Groomsmen were Zach Arnold, Craig Losey, Bryan Wise, Jon Hampshire and Derek Lewis, all of Tiffin.

A rehearsal dinner was at AMVETS, Tiffin. The couple honeymooned with a Royal Caribbean cruise to the Eastern Caribbean.
