Elizabeth R. Whitmer and Verlin M. Thacker II were united in marriage Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, in Elkhorn City, Ky. They are renewing their vows with a formal outdoor ceremony Friday, July 23, 2010, at Camp Hertzer. A reception will follow at the Camp Hertzer reception hall.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Tina Fisher of Tiffin and the late Steve Fisher.
Verlin is the son of Verlin and Victoria Thacker of Tiffin.

Elizabeth is a 2008 graduate of Columbian High School and is employed as a cook at Elmwood at the Shawhan Assisted Living.
Verlin is a 2003 graduate of Columbian High School. He is employed at Hi-Way 101 Auto Parts.
The newlyweds reside at 38 Liberty St., Tiffin.
