Festival to aid fire department

KANSAS - The Kansas Volunteer Fire Department Homecoming Festival, 5980 SR 635, Kansas, is scheduled 5-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The festivities include food, games, bingo and a car show 5-9 p.m. Saturday.

Danger Brothers to perform

SANDUSKY - The Danger Brothers are to appear at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the Sandusky State Theatre.

Fremont event offers art, music

FREMONT - Local artists and musicians will be displaying art work and performing music during the Farmers Market 9 a.m.-noon Saturday.

Oak Ridge Festival returns

ATTICA - The Oak Ridge Festival in Attica is to take place 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine. More than 175 booths are to be set up, with artisans and vendors selling merchandise and demonstrating their crafts. Children can enjoy games, crafts and activities, as well as a one-room school.

Living history re-enactors, musicians and collectors are to participate with special displays and performances that illustrate life in Ohio at an earlier time. Sunday, attend a worship service, an antique tractor pull at 11 a.m. and a craft auction. A biker ride-in also is set for Sunday.

Daily admission is $6 for adults, $5 for senior citizens, $4 for ages 8-12 and free for age 7 and younger Free shuttles can take visitors from the parking area to the gate. No alcohol or pets are allowed on the grounds, located north of Attica on TR 104, east of SR 4.

'Little Shop' coming to UF stage

FINDLAY - SummerStock at the University of Findlay is presenting "Little Shop of Horrors" at 8 p.m. today and Friday, 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Egner Center for the Performing Arts.

Circus scheduled Monday

The load-in and animal zoo for the Carson and Barnes Circus is to begin at 7 a.m. Monday at the Seneca County Fairgrounds. Shows are slated for 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
