Laura Shook and Garie Routhieaux III were united in marriage April 17, 2010, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. The 1:30 p.m. double-ring, nupital Mass was officiated by the Rev. Joe Szybka. A reception followed at Meadowbrook Ballroom, Bascom.
Laura is the daughter of Richard and Joan Shook of Tiffin. Garie is the son of Jodi and Garie Routhieaux Jr.
Laura, given in marriage by her father, wore a blush-colored taffeta gown with a pick-up skirt. The bodice and train were adorned with ornate Swarvoski crystal details in silver. She wore a Swarvoski crystal headband and a crystal flower brooch. Her two-tiered ivory tulle veil featured teardrop crystal accents. She carried a bouquet of 12 white calla lilies.

Megan Warnement of Dayton was her friend's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rebekah Shook of Canton, twin sister of the bride; Megan Shook of Canton, sister of the bride; and Sara Seeley of Fairlawn, friend of the bride. They wore knee-length, irridescent pewter taffeta dresses with a black sash. They carried circus roses with white stock.
Aaron McCammon of Canton was his friend's best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Gentry of Columbiana, Kyle Gibson of Langley, Va., and Charles Smith of Columbia, S.C., friends of the groom.
Rebekah and Megan Shook hosted a bridal shower for the bride March 21, 2010. The rehearsal dinner was at Xcaret Mexican Restaurant, Tiffin.
