Laura Ann Stiverson and Joseph Houston Hodge were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. May 15, 2010, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, by the Rev. Eric Culler. Following the double-ring, Catholic nuptial Mass was a reception at Findlay Inn.
Laura is the daughter of Robert and Patricia Stiverson of Tiffin.
Joseph is the son of Jack and Paulette Hodge of Ann Arbor, Mich.

Laura, given in marriage by her father, wore her mother's chantille lace gown and chantille lace-trimmed veil. She carried an airy bouquet of garden roses, lilies of the valley and lilacs. For the reception, she wore a pure white, silk evening gown with a pearl and crystal tiara.
Christy Moore of San Antonio, Texas, was her cousin's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Schlaff of South Lyon, Mich., and Stephanie Kaetzel of Medina, friends of the bride; Polly Olson of Canton, Mich., sister of the groom; Tracey Hodge of St. Charles, Mo., sister-in-law of the groom; Heather Stiverson of Bloomville and Angela Stiverson of Findlay, sisters-in-law of the bride; Iria and Briana Stiverson of Maricopa, Ariz., sister-in-law and niece of the bride; Natalie Hodge of St. Charles, Mo., niece of the groom; and Madalyn and Kayla Stiverson of Bloomville, twin nieces of the bride. They wore peridot green dresses, fresh water pearl jewelry and carried bouquets of garden roses and lilacs.
Jason Hodge of St. Charles, Mo., was his brother's best man. Ring bearer was Nicholas Carroll of Point Vedra, Fla., cousin of the groom.
Laura is a 2002 graduate of Calvert High School and a 2006 and 2008 graduate of Eastern Michigan University. She is an orthotist.
Joseph is a 2001 graduate of Dexter High School and a 2004 gradute of Washtenaw College. He is self-employed.
Polly Olson and Paulette Hodge hosted a bridal shower Feb. 27, 2010, in Canton, Mich. Angela and Patricia Stiverson hosted a shower March 13, 2010, and there was a bridesmaids' luncheon hosted by the maid of honor May 14, 2010.
The rehearsal dinner took place at the Pioneer Mill Restaurant in Tiffin.
Following an Alaskan cruise wedding trip, the couple resides at 8929 Fox Ave., Allen Park, MI 48101.
