Jessica Mahl and Brian Rutkowski were united in marriage Saturday, June 6, 2009, at Valley Dale Ballroom in Columbus. The Rev. Stephen Sabanos was the officiant during the double-ring ceremony. A reception immediately followed the ceremony.
Jessica is the daughter of Jeff and Renee Mahl of Attica. Brian is the son of Mike and Pam Rutkowski of Powell.
Keri Schnelmer of Lewis Center was her friend's matron of honor and Natalie Mahl of Dublin, Ohio, was her sister's maid of honor. Bridemaids were Ashley Anatra of Columbus, cousin of the bride; Lauren Rutkowski of Powell, sister of the groom; Chelcie Maruna of Elyria, friend of the bride; and Heather West of Columbus and Erica Hawkins of Tiffin, both cousins of the bride.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Seneca East High School and a 2001 graduate of Tiffin Academy of Hair Design. She is employed at Anna Lee's Salon in Powell. The groom is a 2000 graduate of Bishop Watterson High School in Columbus and a 2004 graduate of Tiffin University. He is employed at Keul Solutions in Powell.
Following a honeymoon trip along the California coastline, the couple resides in Lewis Center.
