Grine-Boehler

Tiffany Elyse Grine and Christopher Thomas Boehler exchanged wedding vows at 4:30 p.m. July 25, 2009, at Trinity Evangelical United Methodist Church in Upper Sandusky. The Rev. Jim Stauffer, pastor of the bride and groom, and the Rev. Tom Everett, friend of the bride, were co-officiants for the double-ring service. A reception was hosted following the ceremony at Sycamore Community Center.

The bride is the daughter of Mark and Lori Grine of Tiffin. The bridegroom is the son of John and Sarah Boehler of Tiffin.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore an ivory satin pick-up ball gown with a red cuff neckline and red lace-up back. The gown had a sweep train. The bride's veil was ivory and studded with crystals, and had a matching tiara. The bride carried a cascading bouquet of red roses and wore jewelry designed specifically for the wedding party by Lisa Frisch of hookbeadandwire.com.

The attendants wore floor-length, black, strapless dresses with pick-ups and trimmed with a satin ribbon sash in red. The maid of honor and junior bridesmaids wore the same dress in red with a black ribbon accent. The flower girl wore a miniature version in ivory with a red sash. They carried hand-tied bouquets of red and white roses. The attendants also wore jewelry designed by Lisa Frisch.

Kelsey Grine of Tiffin was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Tooley, cousin of the bride; Kim Lust and Jackie Atkin, high school friends of the bride; and Sarah LuceWireman and Kelly Berger, college roommates of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Shayla Thomas and Alyssa Parsio, friends of the bride. Autumn Enders, cousin of the groom, served as the flower girl.

Jakob Boehler, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen included friends of the groom Travis McDonald, Greg Trumble and Jim Ryan. Kaleb Grine, brother of the bride, and Steve Mohr, uncle of the groom, also were groomsmen. The junior groomsman was Campbell Holben, friend of the couple. Caiden Scott, cousin of the bride, served as the ring bearer.

The bride, a 2005 graduate of Mohawk High School, graduated in May 2009 from Heidelberg University. She is an intervention teacher and teaches for Tiffin City Schools. The groom, a 2004 graduate of Mohawk , graduated in May 2008 from Heidelberg. He will be receiving a master's degree from Bowling Green State University in August and will continue on to earn a doctoral degree.

Honoring the bride with miscellaneous showers were her mother, Lori Grine, and sister, Kelsey Grine, in June 2009, and her mother-in-law, Sarah Boehler, and her future sister-in-law, Elizabeth Hefner, in June 2009. A rehearsal dinner took place at MJ Mugsy's in Upper Sandusky.

The couple resides at 429 N. Washington St., Tiffin, following a honeymoon in Sault Sainte Marie, Mich.
