Amanda Bryant, counselor at Longfellow Elementary School in Fostoria, sprays blue dye on the hair of Principal Melissa Depinet in the school gymnasium Tuesday afternoon. Last week, the school had several activities for Read Across America and Depinet agreed to have her hair dyed blue if children read a total 1,125 books. Students read 1,612 books.
