SHELBY - Columbian's Isaac Williams and Greg Donna each claimed third and Drew Williams ended fourth Saturday at the Division II sectional to gain district berths.
Isaac Williams blanked Joey Snyder of Perkins 6-0 at 145 pounds, and Donna pinned 285-pound Brock Naufel of Sandusky Perkins in 59 seconds.
Drew Williams was pinned by Clyde's Eric Pumphrey (4:10) in the consolation finals at 140 pounds.
Columbian ended seventh out off 11 teams with 88 points. Oak Harbor beat Lexington, 253-216 1/2, for the team crown.
Next week's district tournament is at Marion Harding.
Six move on for Seneca East
PLYMOUTH - One wrestler from Seneca East captured the title in his weight class while five others battled their way to district berths in the Division III sectional.
Taylor Hoepf gained a title at 145 pounds with a 19-13 decision over Jordan Krupa. Damien Showman registered a technical fall on Stephen Edgell to take third at 112. Brad McConnell added a third at 152, defeating Clear Fork's Reno Bucci, 3-1. David Fike (160), Marshall Lucius (171) and Alec Marvin (215) added fourths to advance to next week's Owens Community College District.
