Tiffin mayor declares snow emergency

Mayor Jim Boroff has declared a snow emergency for the city of Tiffin.

Parking is prohibited on all city streets from noon today through noon Thursday.This is to permit the snow plows to clear the streets.

Also, all non-essential city employees are to leave work at noon today, and have been told not to report for work Wednesday.

Only essential city services are to be maintained. This includes fire and emergency services,police, the street department and the Wastewater Treatment Plant. However, clerical staff in these departments is not to report for work Wednesday.
