Nostalgic Christmas dinners planned
n FREMONT - Christmas dinners at Spiegel Grove are being served 6:30-10 p.m. Dec. 3-5. Dine on a six-course dinner taken straight from state dinner menus served in the White House during the Rutherford B. Hayes Administration (1877-1881) at his Spiegel Grove estate in Fremont.
Guests will arrive at the Hayes home by horse and carriage and will be greeted by people dressed in Civil War garb. Inside, costumed \staff see to every need as period entertainment echoes through the elegant presidential home.
Additional highlights include carolers, a flute trio, a featured performer and a gift presentation.
Seating is limited to 24 guests per night. The cost is $250 per person ($175 is tax deductible).
n BELLEVUE - Historic Lyme Village is having Victorian Christmas candlelight dinners 6-9 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5 and 1-4 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Wright Mansion. Following hors d'oeuvres and music, a four-course dinner is to be served. Tours, music, stories and folklore are being offered along with lighting of the Christmas tree.

n NORWALK - Towne and Country Players Inc., is sponsoring "Ye Olde Yuletide Dinner and Christmas Concert," Dec. 10 at St. Mary Church, 38 W. League St., Norwalk.
The dinner is to be served at 6 p.m. in Reynolds Hall on the church grounds. Guests are to hear Gregory McDonald playing the new carillon at the church. The costumed Ashland University Singers will provide music in the nave of the church.

n FINDLAY - The Hancock Historical Museum in Findlay is hosting its 16th Annual Victorian Christmas Dinner Dec. 11 and 12. "An Old Fashioned Christmas" is to begin at 6:30 p.m. with a traditional turkey dinner served at 7 p.m. in the Holbrook House, 321 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.
