PREP SWIMMING: Calvert's Jaci Leis set a meet record of 2:09.45 in the 200 freestyle in Saturday's Fremont St. Joe Invitational at Ross High School. Leis also won the 100 butterfly in 1:05.85. The Senecas' Elizabeth Buchman added a third in the 500 free (6:37.76).
JUNIOR HIGH WRESTLING: Calvert's Daniel Kwiat took first at 152 pounds in the Norwalk St. Paul Invitational. Tyler Tiell (heavyweight) placed third and Mason Correll (94 pounds) fourth for the Senecas.
BASEBALL: The Sandusky YMCA will host the Chad Blasko Pitching Clinic on Jan. 31. There will be two age groups - 7-12 and 13-18. Cost is $50. Registration runs through Jan. 16.
n The Fremont Batting Range is registering teams for the winter indoor hitting leagues that begin the first week of January. Leagues are for girls 9-17, boys 7-up, mother/daughter, father/son or daughter, co-ed softball, and 50-over. Cost is less than $5 per week.
