Betty Little

Betty Jean Little, 86, of Clyde, passed away Sunday, Nov.16, 2008, in her residence. She was born May 21, 1922, in Alexis, Ill., the daughter of John and Vera (Schreiber) Rodgers. She married Delbert Little June 12, 1945, in Denver, Co.

Mrs. Little held many jobs throughout her life as a result of her marriage to a career Air Force officer. She is retired from Sears in Tiffin and Green Hills Golf Course, Clyde. She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3343, and the Clyde Eagles.

She is survived by a son, Bruce Little of Gainesville, Fla.; daughters, Betty J. Wingrove of Muncie, Ind, Debra J. Angelbeck of Genoa, Barbara A. Wise of Tiffin and Sandra L. Koerkenmeier of Trenton, Ill.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Josephine Strand of Monmouth, Ill.

Friends will be received at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, until a service officiated by the Rev. Dennis Schroeder will begin at 1 p.m. in Foos-Klein Funeral Home, 318 S. Main St., Clyde. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
