FOSTORIA - Police are looking for a man after an armed robbery at Cash Advance, 636 Plaza Dr., Thursday afternoon.

According to a report from the Fostoria Police Department, a woman from Cash Advance reported at 2:42 p.m. the store had been robbed.

She also reported she was sprayed with mace.

The report shows the woman hung up the phone after reporting the robbery and did not answer when police attempted to call her back.

The man, described as a white male, 6 feet tall and wearing a gray shirt, left the store and headed south on Countyline Street toward Nye's Trailer Park, 1521 N. Countyline St., the report states.

The report also indicates the man had short hair or a shaved head.

Fostoria Police Chief John McGuire said Thursday evening police still were searching for the suspect and following leads.

According to the report, the Tiffin Police canine unit also responded to the robbery.
