Margaret Jean Loose, 86, formerly of rural Tiffin and the last two years of Fairhaven Community, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, at Fairhaven Community of Upper Sandusky.
On Aug. 2, 1922, she was born in Seneca County to the late Russell P. and Irene (Ingman) Coffman. She married Donald K. Loose, May 11, 1941, and he died May 5, 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas G. (Dola) Loose of rural Sycamore and David M. (fiancee Lesley Brown) Loose of rural Bloomville; six grandchildren, Kelly Dentinger, Brett Loose, Kurt Loose, Michael Loose, Jesse Brown and Casey Brown; seven great-grandchildren; a half-sister, Carol Von Blon of Tiffin; and two half-brothers, Philip Grubb of rural Sycamore and Donald Grubb of Sycamore.
Mrs. Loose was a homemaker and a member of Sycamore American Legion Auxiliary 250 and the Order of the Eastern Star Lodge 189 of Tiffin. Margaret graduated from Findlay High School in 1940.
She loved to bowl, make quilts, work in her garden and can the produce from it.
Her funeral is 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Glasscock officiating. Burial is at Bethel Cemetery in McCutchenville.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2008, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
