FREMONT-Seven students and their instructors from Terra Community College recently attended a national conference in Dearborn, Mich., sponsored by the Color and Appearance Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers. "Driving Color into the Next Decade" was the theme of the three-day event, which began Sept. 21.
In recent years, Professor Jamie Przybylski's students have been the guests of the Color and Appearance Division at the conferences.
"Attending this national conference is always a benefit for the students," said Przybylski, who teaches in the plastics technology program at Terra. "They meet lots of people in the plastics field and gather lots of business cards."
Thomas Horn of Green Springs was a two-time attendee. Andrea Meyers of Republic went to a similar event when she was a student at Sentinel Career Center.
