Don’t give up on The Pharm

April 23, 2008
The Advertiser-Tribune
I just read Jan Affholder’s letter in The Advertiser-Tribune and I agree with her 100 percent. Why should we let Rite Aid take over The Pharm?

The Pharm is always busy. I am in there several times a week. I find The Pharm a convenient place to shop. The employees and managers are friendly and go out of their way to help you. And the drug department is always busy filling customers’ prescriptions.

Why is it that every time a Wal-Mart store comes to a town, they shut down other businesses? It certainly is not their prices.

Look what happened to the Ames store and Kmart when Wal-Mart came to Tiffin. They closed!

If you are interested in having The Pharm store remain open, you can call (800) 748-3248 and ask for customer service. I called and they were very nice. It won’t hurt to try. Good luck.
