James M. Hoffman

James M. “Jamie” Hoffman, 40, of Clyde, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008.
He was born May 18, 1967, in Fremont to Jane Bruggeman Pettys and the late John Hoffman.
He is survived by his mother of Clyde, a daughter, Paige M. Hoffman, his sons, Caleb J. and Jacob M. Hoffman, all of Clyde; his sisters, Mary Patricia Cook of Tiffin, Karen (Raymond) Colon of Fremont, and Beth (Charles) Werner of Bellevue; brothers, John M. (Stephanie) Hoffman of Clyde, Gregory (Deb) Hoffman of Clyde, Kevin (Vicki) Hoffman of Clyde; Mark (Lita) Hoffman of Bellevue; Brian (Mona) Hoffman of Tiffin; a companion; stepdaughters, Sadie and Abbey; and two stepgrandchildren. Also surviving are a stepsister, Jennifer Samelak, of Cuyahoga Falls; and a stepbrother, David Pettys of Florida.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2008, at Mitchell - Auxter Funeral Home.
The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. The Rev. Dennis Schroeder will officiate, and burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the education trust for his children in care of Mrs. Jane Pettys.
