Boyce elected state director by Delaware Realtors

Toby Boyce, formerly of Tiffin and now of Delaware, was elected to the post of state director Tuesday by the membership of the Delaware County Board of Realtors.

Boyce, a realtor with Disbennett Real Estate Co., is to serve a two-year term representing the local board with the Ohio Association of Realtors.

“This is an important position within our local board and I’m honored the membership thought enough to elect me to this important position,” Boyce remarked.

Boyce has served as a realtor for more than a year after a career that spanned nearly ten years as a professional writer and photographer for newspapers and various colleges.

Boyce is a graduate of Danville High School, earned a bachelor’s degree from Mount Union College in business administration, and a master’s in business administration from Heidelberg College.

Boyce, the son of Janice Boyce, of Danville, and the late Calvin Boyce, resides in Delaware with his wife, the former Gretchen Golling, a Seneca East graduate.



New Washington man to mark 45 years at Donnelley

Charles E. Stockmaster is to celebrate 45 years of service at RR Donnelley in Willard on Monday. He was hired as a trucker in 1962. He has been a paper handler, hoist operator, gathering machine helper, trimmer operator, gathering machine operator, patent binder operator and is currently a bindery technician III.

His supervisor says the level of craftsmanship and experience Stockmaster has as a binder operator significantly contributes to the success of the softcover line and the bindery as a whole. Stockmaster is also very reliable and dedicated to doing a superb job which allows the company to exceed customer expectations and deliver results.

Stockmaster lives in New Washington with his wife, Sandra. They have five children — David, Tom, Diane, Steve and Amy — and 11 grandchildren.

He enjoys farming, travel and his family.



Baumann joins Hayes Center board

The Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center Board of Trustees has announced Buck Baumann as its newest member. Baumann joins the board’s 14 other members in helping to establish policies and future direction for the Hayes Presidential Center, a multi-faceted facility dedicated to our nation’s 19th President Rutherford B. Hayes.

Baumann is owner and president of Baumann Auto Group in Fremont. The business includes five auto sales and service centers: Al Baumann Chevrolet-Buick and Baumann Chrysler-Jeep Dodge, both in Fremont; Baumann Pontiac-Cadillac-GMC in Norwalk; Baumann Pontiac-Buick-GMC in Tiffin; and Baumann Auto Center in Port Clinton.

“We are honored to have Buck accept a position on the Hayes Presidential Center Board of Trustees. His business acumen, natural enthusiasm and strong connection to Fremont are assets that will further the Center’s mission and the Board’s goals for the future,” said Board President Stephen A. Hayes, great-great-grandson of President Hayes.

In 2003, Baumann was responsible for creation of Baumann Big Charity Raffle. The fundraiser generated more than $250,000 for local charities in its first five years.
